Episode 98 – Abject Objects
We humans sure do make a lotta STUFF, and we like scary stories, so naturally there are plenty of scary stories ABOUT stuff. That’s right, it’s antiquing time on this episode of Superduperstitious!
For starters, Jake has the tale of a weird wooden idol found in the Catskill Mountains that seems to be attached to some kind of evil entity. Is The Crone really up to no good and all the time conjuring pond water and shit out of the blue? What, really, is it’s DEAL?
Wyatt then slowly cranks up the creeps with a series of cursed paintings, each more unpleasant than the previous. From a flameproof Crying Boy that WAY too many people own, to two successive paintings that have no excuse for existing, the world of household art seems to for sure be a weird place. And maybe the whole justification for eBay’s existence.
Ghost stories abound, unexplained occurrences inconvenience various art owners, and Wyatt and Jake reveal a shameful secret about themselves, all in this brand new ep!
